What is Open Farm Sunday?

 Open Farm Sunday is a designated Sunday that British farms open up to the public every year.


We are taking part in Open Farm Sunday again this year! This will take place at Cools Farm where we will have various activities and talks about how we farm, what we farm and why we do things in certain ways.

Talks:

Tom will be giving extensive talks about the farm, the animals and what we do to farm regeneratively, there is a timeline that will be published before the day.

Walk the farm freely:

Feel free to walk around the farm, enjoy the views from our beautiful private lake. Some areas will have designated walkway areas to protect livestock.

Activities:

There will be various activities to take part in during the day!

Shop our produce:

Our recently opened farm shop will be open and produce will be available you can also shop and leave it with us during the day until you are ready to go home!

  • What are the opening hours?

    Our Open Farm Sunday is open from 11am-4pm.

  • Can we bring our dog?

    No. unfortunatley you will have to leave your dogs at home. Please do not bring them to the farm as the risk of livestock worrying is a risk we are not prepared to take.


    DO NOT LEAVE DOGS IN HOT CARS

    You will be asked to leave the premisis if you bring a dog and leave them in the car. 

  • Can we bring a picnic?

    Of Course, please do!-  there will be a designated picnic area.

  • Where do we park?

    There will be parking availible through the farmyard into a grass field, signs will clearly be displayed.  


    disabled parking is availible but limited.

  • Do I need to book?

    No need to book!

    just turn up on the day 

  • Do I need to wear wellies?

    Hoepfully not! 

    but we do advide if the weather is wet for any reason, please bring appropriate footwear.

  • Is there any disabled access?

    Yes, there will be limited disabled access  - There will be something for every family member to enjoy!

  • Where can I leave my shopping?

    You can leave your shopping with us, we can keep it cool in our fridges for when you are ready to go home!
